I am so excited! I had a voice mail waiting for me after work yesterday from the Lilly store at the King of Prussia mall inviting me to stop by to meet Lisa, author of True Prep, drink cocktails, and meet some of the higher-ups from Lilly on Thursday the 14th. I am too excited!
Now...what to wear???
I hope some of the new pieces I ordered from UTPT come in...if not, I have a few ideas...
I just ordered this about a week ago; so if its here by Thursday, I will definitely be wearing...
Any of you out in blogger land going? If so, let me know, I would love to put a face to the name!

Stopped by King of Prussia mall last night with my hubs for some dinner at Maggiano's and couldn't resist stopping in Lilly to see if I missed any goodies from the last shipment; well the new stuff was already out! And it is gorgeous!!! So many colors and prints and beautiful things!
I couldn't resist picking up one goodie; the Newport Dress Pointe (not even on the LP website yet!!!)

New Lilly Shipment!!
Its almost here! The September 25 Lilly shipment!
Goodies such as the Shauna Tunic Dress Engineered in Black Novelty Big Bang
And the Sari Dress Printed in It's Getting Hot In Here
Or the Babs Cable Wrap Stripe in either Blue or Coral
And who could forget the Gisele Dress Silk Twill in Brewster Blue
So many great options...which to choose! And I still haven't even made it through my wish list from the last shipment! Luckily, Under The Palm Tree has been having great deals via their facebook page to help us Lilly lovers get our fix!!! Friend them on facebook or get on their email list; believe me, once you go VIA, you rarely go back to standard Lilly stores!
Hope you are ready for another Fall shipment from Lilly P.; because ready or not, its on its way!!!

Coach Boots
We all know I have been lusting forever over a pair of Tory Burch brown boots and while I haven't caved in and bought them yet, I was perusing the Coach website today (since I got a opportunity to shop as a preferred customer and get 25% off (yey!)) and found these beauties!

Thoughts?? I am torn whether or not to take advantage of the discount or just take the plunge and go for the Tory.
Hope you all had a happy Monday!

PS Just got an email from Tory Burch featuring the boots I love...maybe its a sign???

Looking for new Sperrys
I am in need of a new pair of rain boots and boat shoes and I found some amazing options on Zappos (which I love btw; free shipping both ways, woo hoo!)
I absolutely love these duck boots; I have classic LL Bean ones but these are so fun!
These pink patent shoes are so great for jazzing up a boring winter outfit!
And while these will never beat my Hunters, they are so darling!
What new fall pieces are must-have! What new looks are you loving right now???

Asking for help
I'm not one to ask for help; but my way obviously isn't working.
Since graduating from college in May 2008, I have consistent been putting on weight. I exercise regularly (3-4 times a week) and still can't lose. I have bad habits; such as eating dinner at 930 when my husband comes home from work or the occasional pig out.
I was thinking of joining a program; Weight Watchers or something along those lines; via online of course. I was going to join a gym, but working at a school, I have our school's weight room and machines to use for free so it seems silly to waste money on a gym when I can go for free.
What are you doing that works? What advice can you give me? Has a program like WW or something similar worked or failed? How do you stay slim and trim without crazy crash diets or starvation?!?

True Prep
I am almost done with True Prep and am loving every minute of it! And Lisa Birnbach is absolutely amazing! I've seen her on Nightline and the Today Show and the woman exudes grace. She truly is exactly what our generation needs; a touch of class and manners!
I do think my favorite part of her Nightline interview was when she said 'We can all be preppy. We can all be well-dressed, well-spoken, good manners, pay a good round at the club.' Being preppy is about social graces and manners; its not all about money anymore, its about being a good person and yes, we would all love to afford Lacoste polos, Lilly shifts and Hermes scarves; but even if you can't, you can still be preppy. I also love in the book when she talks about how thrifty/cheap preppies are; they wear classics until they fall apart and that's okay.
In the words of Beth Dunn; "Collars up!"
